HG-1 PRIME CRANK HANDLE
Do you hear a squeaking sound and it’s not a mouse? It might be time to lubricate the shaft in the crank handle. We recommend using either mineral oil which is a readily available lubricant than can be found in your local grocery store or SuperLube which we use on our grinders as well as espresso machines.

Remove the cap from the handle and apply a few drops of mineral oil to the head of the shaft. Spin the handle and repeat the process till the squeak goes away.

Repeat the process at the end of the shaft where the threads are located.

For a more through lube job apply SuperLube directly to the stainless steel shaft. Use a pair of ring pliers to remove the retaining ring holding the shaft in place. Apply grease along the length of the shaft.
