Craig Lyn Design Studio Store Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases of goods and services from the Craig Lyn Design Studio online store (“Store”). By placing an order through the Store, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and the Craig Lyn Design Studio Privacy Policy.

Craig Lyn Design Studio (“CLDS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. The Terms & Conditions in effect at the time you place your order will apply to that order.

Orders and Acceptance

Submitting an order does not constitute acceptance of the order by Craig Lyn Design Studio.

We reserve the right to accept, decline, or cancel an order for reasonable business purposes, including product availability, pricing or listing errors, suspected fraud, payment problems, shipping restrictions, or other circumstances that prevent us from fulfilling the order.

If we cancel an order after payment has been received, we will refund the applicable amount to the original payment method.

We may contact you for additional information before accepting or fulfilling an order.

Pricing and Availability

All products are subject to availability.

Prices, product specifications, configurations, and availability may change without notice. The price applicable to your purchase is the price displayed when your order is submitted, except in the case of an obvious pricing or listing error.

Payment

Payment must be made using one of the payment methods offered during checkout.

Orders may be subject to payment authorization, fraud screening, and other verification before they are accepted or shipped.

Preorders and Deposits

Certain products may be offered for preorder with a deposit rather than payment in full.

Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase, preorder deposits may be cancelled and refunded prior to shipment. Refunds will be reduced by any payment-processing fees that are not returned to Craig Lyn Design Studio by the applicable payment processor.

When a preorder is ready for final payment, Craig Lyn Design Studio will notify the customer using the contact information associated with the order. The remaining balance must be paid within the payment period specified in that notice.

If the remaining balance is not paid within the specified period, Craig Lyn Design Studio reserves the right to cancel the preorder and release the reserved product for sale to another customer. Any amounts previously paid will be refunded, less non-refundable payment-processing fees.

Estimated production, availability, and shipping dates provided for preorder products are estimates and may change due to manufacturing, supply-chain, transportation, or other circumstances.

Coupons and Promotions

Coupons and promotional offers are subject to any conditions stated with the applicable offer.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, coupons and promotional discounts:

• may not be combined with other coupons, promotions, or sale pricing;
• have no cash value;
• may not be transferred or resold; and
• may be limited to one use per customer, household, or mailing address.

New-subscriber discount coupons are valid for one use per household or mailing address and expire 10 days after issuance unless otherwise stated.

Craig Lyn Design Studio reserves the right to refuse or cancel the use of a coupon or promotional offer if its terms have not been met, it has been used improperly, or an error has occurred. If this results in cancellation of an order for which payment has already been collected, the applicable payment will be refunded.

Sales Tax, Duties and Import Fees

Craig Lyn Design Studio collects sales or other transaction taxes where required by applicable law. Any taxes collected by us will be shown during checkout or on your order documentation.

Customers are responsible for any taxes that are legally their responsibility and are not collected by Craig Lyn Design Studio at checkout.

For international shipments, the customer is responsible for all applicable import duties, tariffs, taxes, brokerage charges, customs fees, and other charges imposed by the destination country or carrier unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout.

These charges are not included in the product price or shipping charge unless specifically indicated.

Shipping

For in-stock products, Craig Lyn Design Studio generally attempts to dispatch orders within one to two business days after the order is accepted. This is a processing target and not a guaranteed shipping date.

Preorder, backordered, made-to-order, or otherwise specially identified products will ship according to the availability information provided for those products.

Delivery estimates provided by Craig Lyn Design Studio or a shipping carrier are estimates and are not guaranteed.

Carrier delays, customs processing, weather, labor actions, transportation disruptions, and other events outside our reasonable control may delay delivery. We will assist customers with carrier issues when reasonably possible but cannot guarantee a carrier’s delivery schedule or customs-clearance time.

International Shipments

International customers are responsible for ensuring that the products they order may lawfully be imported into the destination country.

Craig Lyn Design Studio and its shipping partners may assist with customs clearance, but the customer is responsible for providing any information, identification, clearance paperwork, or import documentation required by the destination country or carrier.

Failure to provide required customs information may result in delay, return, or abandonment of the shipment and may result in additional charges.

Lost or Damaged Shipments

Shipments are insured to their applicable shipment value.

If a shipment appears to have been lost in transit, Craig Lyn Design Studio may initiate a trace or claim with the carrier. Once the carrier or insurer has determined that the shipment is lost, Craig Lyn Design Studio will, as appropriate, replace the order or issue a refund.

Customers should notify Craig Lyn Design Studio promptly if an order arrives visibly damaged or if items are missing. We may require photographs, packaging, shipping labels, or other documentation needed to process a carrier or insurance claim.

Customers should retain all original shipping materials until a shipping-damage claim has been resolved.

Refused and Undeliverable Shipments

Shipments refused by the customer or returned because of an incorrect or incomplete address, failure to provide required customs information, failure to pay applicable import charges, or failure to accept delivery may be returned to Craig Lyn Design Studio.

Returned international shipments can take a significant amount of time to be received and processed. In some circumstances, this may take 45 days or longer.

Any return shipping charges, carrier fees, customs charges, duties, taxes, or other costs assessed as a result of a refused or undeliverable shipment are the customer’s responsibility and may be deducted from any refund.

Products returned because delivery was refused may also be subject to the applicable 15% restocking fee.

Returns and Refunds

If you’re not happy, neither are we.

If your Craig Lyn Design Studio product isn’t right for you, you may return it within 30 days of delivery for a refund of the product purchase price. No restocking fee, no arguments, just good old fashioned customer service. You simply cover the cost of return shipping.

Please return the product in its original packaging and include all parts and accessories that came with it. We understand that you need to use our products to decide whether they’re right for you; normal use during the 30-day period is expected.

Original shipping charges, expedited shipping, duties, taxes, brokerage fees, and other third-party charges are not refundable except where required by law or when the return results from an error by Craig Lyn Design Studio.

Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection law.

One-Year Limited Warranty

Craig Lyn Design Studio products are covered by a one-year limited warranty beginning on the date of purchase.

During the warranty period, Craig Lyn Design Studio warrants the product against defects in materials and workmanship under normal intended use.

If a covered defect occurs during the warranty period, Craig Lyn Design Studio will, at its discretion, provide an appropriate replacement part, repair the product, or replace the defective product.

This limited warranty does not cover damage or failure resulting from:

1. accident, misuse, abuse, or neglect;
2. improper installation, maintenance, or operation;
3. unauthorized alteration, modification, or repair;
4. use of the product for purposes other than its intended purpose;
5. use with incompatible or unapproved components where that use caused the failure;
6. normal wear and tear; or
7. cosmetic damage that does not affect the operation of the product.

Obtaining Warranty Service

To request warranty service:

1. Have the product serial number, if applicable, and proof of purchase available.
2. Contact Craig Lyn Design Studio through our Contact page and describe the problem.
3. We will determine whether the issue can be resolved through troubleshooting or shipment of a replacement component, or whether the product needs to be returned.
4. If a return is required, Craig Lyn Design Studio will provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (“RMA”) and return instructions. Do not return a product without an RMA.
5. Warranty products should be packaged adequately to prevent shipping damage. When available, we recommend using the original shipping packaging.

Typical warranty service turnaround is approximately 10–14 business days after receipt of the product, although actual service time may vary depending on the nature of the repair, parts availability, shipping, and the customer’s location.

Warranty Shipping Costs

For a valid warranty claim, Craig Lyn Design Studio may provide or reimburse reasonable return shipping as specified in the RMA instructions.

If inspection determines that the product does not have a covered warranty defect, the customer may be responsible for shipping costs, including the cost of returning the product to the customer.

Craig Lyn Design Studio is not responsible for damage caused by inadequate packaging during return shipment.

Resale

Products purchased through the Store are intended for use by the purchaser or recipient and are not authorized for commercial resale unless Craig Lyn Design Studio has provided prior written authorization.

Intellectual Property

The Store and its content, including product designs, text, photographs, graphics, logos, trademarks, and other materials, are owned by or licensed to Craig Lyn Design Studio and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Purchasing a product does not transfer ownership of any Craig Lyn Design Studio intellectual property or grant a license to reproduce, manufacture, distribute, or commercially exploit that intellectual property.

Any feedback, comments, ideas, or suggestions voluntarily provided to Craig Lyn Design Studio regarding our products or services may be used by Craig Lyn Design Studio without compensation or obligation to the person providing them.

Website Use and Limitation of Liability

The Store and its website content are provided on an “as available” basis. We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate product information, pricing, availability, and website functionality, but errors or interruptions may occur.

Nothing in this section eliminates or limits the express One-Year Limited Warranty provided above.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Craig Lyn Design Studio will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the Store or products purchased through the Store.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms & Conditions and purchases made through the Store are governed by applicable federal law and the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute arising from these Terms & Conditions or a purchase from Craig Lyn Design Studio will be subject to the applicable laws and jurisdictional requirements governing the transaction.

Changes to These Terms

Craig Lyn Design Studio may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

Changes apply prospectively. The Terms & Conditions applicable to an order are those in effect when the order is placed, unless a change is required by law.
