The HG-1 is a hand operated 83mm conical burr grinder for espresso or pour over coffee preparation.

Designed and produced exclusively by Craig Lyn Design Studio, the HG-1 Grinder has become a design classic. Originally created by Craig Lyn & Paul Nahhas, the HG-1 is truly a labor of love. We searched high and low for a grinder that could fulfill a very specific criteria, and not being able to find one, Paul & I decided to make one ourselves. Incredibly well crafted and with features that can’t be found anywhere else, the HG-1 Grinder will be with you for a lifetime.

As many coffee enthusiasts will tell you the grinder is as important, if not more important, than the espresso machine. Yet many grinders that deliver the quality that people seek are either too large, too expensive, or simply are not suited for use in a normal household environment.
